Whether you worked with a designer or took the DIY route, launch day isn’t the finish line — it’s the starting gate. Just like a garden, a website thrives with a little ongoing care. But don’t worry — I'm not talking about full-blown digital landscaping. A few small, consistent habits can go a long way.

📊 What is Google Analytics & Google Search Console?
Google Analytics shows what’s happening on your website — how many people visit, what pages they view, where they’re located, and more.
Google Search Console shows how your website appears in Google Search — including keyword rankings, clicks, and indexing issues.
⚙️ Setting Up
If you’re not already using Google’s tools to monitor your website, now’s the time — and it’s easier than you might think.
✅ Step 1: Create a Google Account (if you don’t have one)
You’ll need a Google account to access both Analytics and Search Console.
✅ Step 2: Set Up Google Analytics
Go to Google Analytics and sign in.
Click "Start measuring" and follow the prompts to create a new account and property.
Select Web as the platform
Enter your website URL (e.g. https://www.digitalmanifest.com.au)
You’ll be given a Measurement ID (looks like: G-XXXXXXX).
✅ Step 3: Set Up Google Search Console
Go to Google Search Console, click “Start Now” and sign in.
Choose how you want to verify your site:
Domain (recommended): Allows you to track your entire site (all versions + subdomains), but you will need to add a TXT record to your domain's DNS settings - Search Console provides instructions for this during setup.
URL prefix (easier to implement): Tracks just one version of your site. Use the HTML tag method — you can copy and paste this directly into Wix.
✅ Step 4: Connect to Your Wix Studio Website
To connect Google Analytics:
In your Wix Studio Dashboard, go to Settings > Marketing Integrations > Google Tag
Paste in your Measurement ID from Step 2.
To connect Google Search Console:
From your Wix Studio Dashboard, go to Site & Mobile App > Website & SEO > SEO
Follow the prompts under Google Search Console to connect.

Find the SEO Setup Checklist and click continue
Ensure all steps are completed; if not, follow the instructions.
